Kennington is a suburb of Bendigo, a city in Victoria, Australia. The suburb is located 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of the Bendigo city centre and at the 2011 census had a population of 5,830.[1] The suburb is home to the Kennington Reservoir.[2]
History
The Post Office opened on 1 May 1913 and closed in 1972.[3]
