WISM-FM first went on the air in November 1991 with a Classic Rock format and was owned by Alpenglow Communications. The station was bought[2] by Clear Channel Broadcasting Licenses, Inc., but was then sold to Aloha Station Trust, LLC.[3] The station was sold again in 2016 to Midwest Family Broadcasting for $970,000.[4]
