Unionville Meadows Public School is a public school in South Unionville, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 2004, and serves most of the community of South Unionville. The school team is named the Unionville Meadows Mustangs.[1] It has a school song.
Academic performance
Unionville Meadows has a steadily improving academic record. As of 2013-2014, it is ranked 276th out of 3037 primary schools in Ontario by the Fraser Institute, with a score of 8.1 (moving up from the previous year). Its average score in the past five years is 7.5, placing it 374th out of 2283 schools. Unionville Meadows Public School also has a strong basketball, volleyball, cross country and badminton program. A night market is held every year around the beginning of June. [2] Unionville Meadows students feed to Markville Secondary School.
From Seeds We Soar
Unionville Meadows Public School is one of the few public schools with a school song. It is titled "From Seeds We Soar", which is also the school's motto. It is composed by David Marlatt.
