Melody Carlson

Melody Carlson is an accomplished Christian author for children, pre-teens, youth, and adults, with sales totaling more than two million.[1] Some of her most popular works are the Diary of a Teenage Girl books series (12 books and counting) and the True Colors book series. She captures the realism of teenage life today and the difficulty that comes with being a Christian.

Melody Carlson was born March 2, 1956 in San Francisco, California. She grew up in Springfield, Oregon and went to Springfield High School and later Lane Community College. She currently resides in Sisters, Oregon.
