Phạm Văn Trà (born 20 October 1935 in Quế Võ) was Minister of Defense of Vietnam.[1][2]
He was previously Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnamese Army and Vice-Minister of Defense (December 1995 – 1997), and a four-star General. He replaced Đoàn Khuê as minister of defense in September 1997.[3][4]
