Pemra Özgen (born 8 May 1986 in Istanbul[1]) is a Turkish tennis player.

Özgen has won 12 singles and 22 doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career. On 26 May 2014, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 207. On 14 October 2013, she peaked at world number 179 in the doubles rankings.

Playing for Turkey at the Fed Cup, Özgen has a win–loss record of 36–36.[2]

Özgen is an alumna of Istanbul Bilgi University.[3]

Career

Özgen, born in Istanbul, began playing tennis at the age of 8, and later trained at local clubs Taçspor Kulübü and Dağcılık Tenis Spor Kulübü.[1]

Özgen made her WTA tour debut at the 2007 Istanbul Cup, partnering Çağla Büyükakçay in doubles.[4] The Turkish pair lost their first round match against Mervana Jugić-Salkić and Romina Oprandi.[4]
