Okunakayama-Kōgen Station (奥中山高原駅 Okunakayama-Kōgen-eki) is a railway station in Ichinohe, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, operated by the Iwate Ginga Railway.

History

Nakayama Station (中山駅 Nakayama-eki) was established on 1 September 1891. It was renamed to Okunakayama Station (奥中山駅 Okunakayama-eki) on 11 September 1915. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987 and was transferred to the Iwate Ginga Railway on 1 September 2002. It was renamed to its present name at that time.
