Marie-Francoise Megie is an Canadian doctor, university professor, and an independent member of the Senate of Canada. Born in Haiti, she was appointed on November 2, 2016 by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.[1] At the time of her appointment, she was a family physician and a professor at the Université de Montréal.[2]
