Ceres	United Kingdom	The ship was wrecked on the Haisborough Sands, in the North Sea off the coast of Norfolk. Her crew were rescued by the smack Orbit ( United Kingdom).[1]

Ship	Country	Description
Princess Alice	United Kingdom	The ship was in collision with Voyager ( United Kingdom) off Southwold, Suffolk and was abandoned by her crew. She came ashore at Walberswick, Suffolk the next day. Subsequently repaired and returned to service.[1]

Emerald	United Kingdom	The ship was wrecked on the Barnard Sand, in the North Sea off the coast of Suffolk. Her crew were rescued. She was on a voyage from London to Aberdeen.[1]

Sarah & Ann	United Kingdom	The schooner departed from South Shields, County Durham. No further trace, presumed foundered in the North Sea with the loss of all three crew.[1]

Ebenezer	United Kingdom	The ship was driven ashore and wrecked at Herne Bay, Kent. Her crew were rescued. She was later repaired and returned to service.[1]

Spreacombe	United Kingdom	The sloop was driven ashore and wrecked at Whiteshell Point, Glamorgan. Her five crew were rescued.[3]

Industry	United Kingdom	The ship struck the Burrows Sand, in the North Sea off the coast of Suffolk and foundered. Her crew survived.[1]

HMS Erebus	Royal Navy	Franklin's lost expedition: The Hecla-class bomb vessel became icebound in Baffin Bay and was abandoned. Ultimately, none of her crew survived.

Sphinx	French Navy	The Sphinx-class aviso ran aground near Cape Matifu, Algeria and was wrecked, Her crew were rescued by Caméléon, Chimère and Tartare (all  France).

Cataraqui	United Kingdom	Cataraqui. The barque was wrecked in the Bass Strait with the loss of 399 of the 408 people on board. She was on a voyage from Liverpool, Lancashire to Port Phillip, New South Wales.
