Karl-Günther von Hase (born 15 December 1917) is a former German soldier, diplomat and Secretary of State. He also served as Director General (Intendant) of the ZDF (English: "Second German Television"). He served as spokesman of the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government and as ambassador in London. Von Hase was born in Gut Wangern, district of Breslau in the Province of Silesia. Today it is Wrocław in Poland. He married Renate Stumpff, the daughter of Generaloberst Hans-Jürgen Stumpff, on 13 February 1945. The marriage produced five daughters.
