Juvila
Juvila is a fictional character from the Philippine telefantasya Etheria which is a prequel/sequel to the highly rated Encantadia. Juvila is played by Filipina singer-actress and SexBomb Girls member Jopay Paguia.[1][2]
Character background
Juvila is the daughter of Cilatus the leader of Hera Volo. She is Etheria's greatest warrior and has never lost a fight with any man who has challenged her in the arena. She has the power to manipulate time, either to speed it up or slow it down. She is also one of the four guardians of the Golden Clock or Hourglass,She participated in the Great Encantadian War on the side of Etheria.
As headstrong as she is beautiful she refuses to marry any man unless they are able to defeat her in battle. Thus far she has yet to meet her match. She also accepted a charter from Queen Avria to be a captain in the Etherian Army. But powerful people like Barkus have set their sights on the petite fighter and will stop at nothing to obtain her.
She married Animus of Hera Sensa after he successfully defeated her in the coliseum. She fell in love with this fighter since he embodied the qualities she had sought for so long, in fact she believed that she would never find such a man. She became enraged with the other kingdoms and clamored for war after they killed Animus in the couple's bed chambers on their wedding night.
She became Amihan's enemy during the Sang'gres arrival to the Etherian age. In Book 3, the Herans were revived via an orb in which Ether, their goddess made as a "gift" for Cassandra, and were getting revenge on what the Sang'gres' done after fall of Etheria. She was killed by Pirena during the battle with Andora, who was killed later by the keeper of Fire Gem.
Powers
- Super Strength- the ability to exert greater than normal physical force
- Super Speed- the ability to move at speeds faster than a normal being.
- Time Manipulation- the ability to affect the flow of time, slowing, accelerating or even stopping it.
- Teleportation- the ability to move from one place to another without occupying the space in between.
