José de Jesús Madera Uribe
José de Jesús Madera Uribe (born November 27, 1927) is an American Roman Catholic bishop who served the Archdiocese for the Military Services.
Biography
Born in San Francisco, California, Madera Uribe was ordained a priest for the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit on June 15, 1957.
On December 18, 1979, he was appointed coadjutor of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fresno and was consecrated bishop on March 4, 1980. He succeeded as bishop of the diocese on June 1, 1980.
On May 28, 1991, he was appointed to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA. He retired on September 14, 2004.[1]
