Glenhuntly tram depot is located in the Melbourne suburb of Caulfield South. It opened in 1923 and is one of eight depots on the Yarra Trams network.[1][2]
Layout
The main yard has 12 roads, 6 of these inside a maintenance shed. A single, double-track entrance exists, one for trams entering the depot and the other for trams leaving the depot.[1]
Rolling stock
Glenhuntly depot is home to a fleet of 59 trams: 3 SW6-class trams, 1 W7-class tram, 10 A1-class trams, 6 B2-class trams, 9 Z1-class trams and 30 Z3-class trams.[1]
