Eagle Creek Township is one of eleven townships in Lake County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,668 and it contained 709 housing units.[3]
History
Eagle Creek Township was established in 1839.[4]
The Kingsbury-Doak Farmhouse was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.[5]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 56.01 square miles (145.1 km2), of which 55.84 square miles (144.6 km2) (or 99.70%) is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 km2) (or 0.29%) is water.[3]
