As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 265 people, 101 households, and 75 families residing in the town. The population density was 166.1 people per square mile (63.9/km²). There were 128 housing units at an average density of 80.2 per square mile (30.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.74% White, 0.38% Asian, 1.13% from other races, and 0.75% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.40% of the population.
There were 101 households out of which 32.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.4% were married couples living together, 6.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.7% were non-families. 20.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.62 and the average family size was 3.08.
In the town the population was spread out with 23.0% under the age of 18, 12.1% from 18 to 24, 29.8% from 25 to 44, 21.5% from 45 to 64, and 13.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 33 years. For every 100 females there were 89.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 85.5 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $40,313, and the median income for a family was $46,875. Males had a median income of $30,536 versus $14,750 for females. The per capita income for the town was $14,659.
