"Bum Bum" is a song by Dominican American recording artist Kat DeLuna with American recording artist Trey Songz. The song was written by DeLuna, Songz and Sam Hook and produced by A-Wall.[1]

The song contains a sample of "Bam Bam" by Jamaican dancehall recording artist Sister Nancy[2] and a lyrical interpretation of "It Wasn't Me" by Jamaican-American reggae recording artist Shaggy.[3]

Composition

"Bum Bum" represents a major change of pace for the club queen with its slow, tropical beats and explicit Trey Songz feature.[4] The opening line of the song has DeLuna singing "If you wanna love me, you gotta do it right," over slinky horns. "'Cause every queen needs a king that wants her body all day and night."[4]
