Arcadia (Spanish for arcade) is a weekly television show about video gaming and related subject matter. It is produced by 18-50 Televisión Guatemala.[1] The show is hosted by Tomás Gálvez.

About the show

The first episode of Arcadia was televised on August 2008. As of June 2010, the show has had a total of 67 different scripts. The original idea came from Diego Burgos, who contacted 18-50 Televisión to suggest the addition of a video gaming based show to their regular broadcast. As a result, 18-50 Televisión offered Burgos the opportunity to produce the show. Burgos contacted Tomás Gálvez (among other friends) to host Arcadia. Eventually, Gálvez became the show's host and, together with Burgos, they came up with the name and the show's theme and segments. The name "Arcadia" was chosen among a whole lot of options, including "El Control" and "Start/Select". Since the first episode, Arcadia has been produced by:
