5 Romeo (stylized as 5Romeo) is an Indonesian pop vocal group formed in February 12, 2012, by Indonesian legend songwriter Yovie Widianto. The group consists of Hendra "Pungky" Purnanto, Patudu Manik, Adhyra Fajar Maulana, Gusty Pratama and Rizky Pratama Putra. At first, 5Romeo is an inspiration group from British vocal group Il Divo and Canadian Tenors.
Career
After formed a group in 2012, 5Romeo began the debut career for singing to Andity song' "Semenjak Ada Dirimu" which written by Yovie Widianto, and Kahitna' song "Cinta Abadi". In 2015, 5Romeo had releasing single for "Yuk Buat Boneka Salju", an Indonesian single version had listed to an Walt Disney' compilation album We Love Disney (Indonesian edition).[1]
In addition, Universal Music Indonesia signed a deal recording 5Romeo and began releasing debut album, Bukan Modus.[2] Its made the group earning four nominations in 2016 Anugerah Musik Indonesia, including Best Pop Album and Best Pop Vocal Group.
