1982 English cricket season
The 1982 English cricket season saw the welcome return to top class cricket of the leg spinner's art as Abdul Qadir proved the most entertaining player of an otherwise disappointing season.

The Zimbabwe team made its inaugural tour of England in 1982 and played two first-class matches, both of which were drawn.
