Émile Lachapelle
Émile Henri Lachapelle (born September 12, 1905, died 1988) was a Swiss rower and sailor who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics and in the 1948 Summer Olympics.
In 1924 he won the gold medal as coxswain with the Swiss boat in the coxed pairs event.
Some sources credit him also the gold medal as cox of the Swiss boat in the coxed fours event, while others give this medal to Walter Lossli.
