Zoran Belošević (Serbian Cyrillic: Зopaн Бeлoшeвић; born 20. June 1983 in Zaječar) is a Serbian football defender, who played in the Liga I, Serbian SuperLiga, Serbian First League, Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, First Professional Football League, Football League, and the Canadian Soccer League.
Playing career
Belošević began his career in 2003 to play with several Romanian First Division clubs like FC Dinamo București, and Poli Timișoara. In 2004, he returned to his home region to play with FK Sevojno, OFK Niš, FK Slavija Sarajevo, and FK Modriča.[1] In 2008, he went abroad to Bulgaria to play in the First Professional Football League with Slavia Sofia. He returned to Bosnia in 2008 to sign with FK Sarajevo, and had a brief stint with FC Universitatea Cluj before returning to Sarajevo in 2010.[2][3]
In 2013 he signed with Pierikos F.C. of the Football League, and the following season he won the Bosnia league title with HŠK Zrinjski Mostar.[4]He concluded his European career in his native Serbia with FK Napredak Kruševac, and won the Serbian First League title with FK Radnik Surdulica in the 2014-15 season. In 2015, he went overseas to Canada to sign with Milton SC of the Canadian Soccer League.[5]Midway through the season he was transferred to London City.[6] Throughout the season he helped London secure a postseason berth by finishing eighth in the standings, but were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Serbian White Eagles.
