Zootermopsis angusticollis | |
Zootermopsis is a genus of termites (Isoptera) in the family Termopsidae, a group known as the dampwood termites. They are found in temperate rain forests of western North America.
Species
The genus has three species; Zootermopsis angusticollis, Zootermopsis laticeps, and Zootermopsis nevadensis. Z. nevadensis is subdivided into two subspecies, Z. n. nevadensis and Z. n. nuttingi.
