"You Must Go On" is the fifth single from Bernard Butler released in October 1999. It was second singles was taken from the album Friends and Lovers and charted at number 44 on the UK Singles Chart.^[1]

"You Must Go On" released in October 1999. Same like his previous singles ("Friends and Lovers"), this singles also an upbeat with pop-rock arrangement. This singles also made a video clip. Video clip shows Butler walk in the beach in the beginning, after that he play his guitar with clap hand in the middle.

Reception

The singles only charted at number 44 on the UK Singles Chart. The video clip is also only watched by 6.000 people until November 2015.
