Xu Jing (died 222),[1] courtesy name Wenxiu, was a minister of the state of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms period. He was a cousin of Xu Shao. After Liu Zhang announced his submission to Liu Bei, Xu Jing swore his allegiance to Liu Bei. Xu Jing was a very master judge of character, along with being very famous. After Liu Bei was declared "Emperor of Shu Han" in 221, Xu Jing was appointed interior minister. He was among the few persons to whom even an official as powerful as Zhuge Liang should bow, but he held little real power.
