Wellington (Duke) Reiter, FAIA is an architect and urban designer, and in 2008 was named President of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.[1]
Biography
Reiter is interested in the economic, cultural and sustainability of major US metropolitan areas. He was a Dean of the School of Design at Arizona State University (ASU) until 2008.
Reiter is the past President of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) (2008–10). Prior to his presidency at SAIC Reiter was the Dean of the College of Design at Arizona State University from 2003 to 2008. From 1990 to 2003 he had been a member of the faculty in the MIT School of Architecture and Planning.
