Welcome to Curiosity is an English crime thriller starring Amrita Acharia, Richard Blackwood, Kacey Clarke, Stephen Marcus and Lili Bordán. It is the second feature of British director Ben Pickering and is the world’s first film to have raised its entire production budget through equity crowdfunding.[1]

Principal photography began on April 29, 2014 and wrapped on October 31, 2014. Filmed on location in Cornwall,[2] Kent and London. Prominent locations included Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station on Cornwall’s Lizard peninsula, Mimi's American Diner in Bugle[3] and Fort Borstal outside Rochester, Kent.

The film’s £200,000 ($240,000) budget was raised in three rounds of equity crowdfunding by producers Ben Pickering and Darren Ripley.[4]
