WSHN (1550 AM) was a radio station licensed to serve Fremont, Michigan, USA. The station was owned by Noordyk Broadcasting.
History
During 2006, WSHN carried programming from ESPN Radio, but broadcast the feed strictly as fed, with no local commercials or even station identification.
In June 2007, the station went silent, broadcasting only an extremely low-power carrier signal with no modulation. The transmitter site and tower have also become neglected, with vines intertwined with the tower's base. According to the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth, Noordyk Broadcasting, Inc. was automatically dissolved on July 15, 2008.[2]
On October 5, 2012, the Federal Communications Commission cancelled WSHN's license and deleted the station's call sign from its database.
