WCSS (1490 AM) is a radio station broadcasting an oldies/classic hits-centered full service format.[1] Licensed to Amsterdam, New York, USA, the station serves the Capital Region. The station is currently owned by WCSS 1490AM which is a division of Cranesville Block Co., Inc. and features programming from Westwood One's Good Time Oldies network.[2] In addition to an affiliation with Good Time Oldies, the station is part of the New York Mets radio network, airing all home and playoff games and carries local news and sports along with a swap-shop program. Starting July 20th, they will air “Midnight In The Desert” with Art Bell weekdays from 12 AM-3AM.
