Vita Bergen are a Swedish indie rock band, formed in 2010 by the two frontmen William Hellström and Robert Jallinder. Hellström and Jallinder were both students at Stockholm School of Economics, but weren't content with what they describe as the "conformity and cathedral atmosphere". They decided to quit their studies and relocate to their hometown Gothenburg, where they recruited members to the band, mostly old schoolmates according to Hellström and Jallinder.[1]

In 2014, they signed to the independent record label Kning Disk. Their self-titled debut EP was released in the autumn of 2014.[2] In 2015, their debut full-length album Disconnection was released in Scandinavia on the Woah Dad! label.

In March 2016, Disconnection was given a European release through Glitterhouse Records.[3]
