Vishesh Bhriguvanshi (born September 13, 1991) is an Indian professional basketball player. He plays for the Young Cagers who compete at the FIBA Asia Champions Cup. Whilst at a young age, Bhriguvanshi has already competed in most of Asia’s most prestigious basketball events, including the Stankovic Cup, the Super Steung Cup International Invitational Basketball Tournament, the Indian Junior national team and the Indian senior national team.[1] Further, Bhriguvanshi earned several honors and achievements, including
- Most Valuable Player at Basketball Without Borders 2008
- Captain of the Indian national team that won the gold medal at the Asian Beach Games 2008 in Indonesia [1]
At age 17, Bhriguvanshi already finished among the tournament's top 10 at the FIBA Asia Championship 2009 in Tianjin, China in points, steals and minutes per game.[2]
