Viorel Riceard Badea (born June 21, 1968, Craiova) is a Romanian politician, member of the Senate of Romania.[1][2]
Viorel Badea graduated from the University of Bucharest. He worked as the head of The Department for Romanians Abroad (1999–2000) and as an adviser for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Romania) (2000–2006). He has been a member of the Senate of Romania since 2008. In March 2010, Viorel Badea opened a Parliamentary Bureau in Chişinău.[3] In 2015 he switched from the Democratic Liberal Party to the National Liberal Party.[4]
