Usilampatti taluk

Usilampatti taluk is a taluk of Madurai district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Usilampatti.

Demographics

According to the 2011 census, the taluk of Usilampatti had a population of 195,236 with 99,804 males and 95,432 females. There were 956 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 67.65. Child population in the age group below 6 was 8,839 Males and 7,908 Females.^[1]
