Rozgan University (Pashto: اروزګان پوهنتون‎) is a public university located in Tarinkot, capital of southern Rozgan Province of Afghanistan. The university was officially inaugurated on March 28, 2012.^[1]

Rozgan University (RU) currently has faculty of education and Faculty of Agriculture and still the people of Uruzgan, Parliament members and the Provincial Governor is trying for establishing further faculties in Uruzgan University, there are large Number of students who are willing to study their higher education in Uruzgan Province rather than going to any other province of Aghanistan.

Turyallai Sahim who has completed his bachelor's degree (BBA) Bachelor of Business Administration in India Calicut University is willing to extend his further contribution to the university.
