Tyreeq Jamal Adeshina Oliveira Bakinson is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for League Two club Luton Town.

Career

Born in Camden, Greater London, Bakinson joined Luton Town as an under-10 and progressed through the club's youth system, before signing a three-and-a-half-year professional contract on 7 March 2016.[2] He was part of the under-18 squad which won the Youth Alliance South East title,[3][4] and also reached the quarter-finals of the 2015–16 FA Youth Cup, losing 1–0 to Blackburn Rovers,[5][6] before winning the Youth Alliance Cup.[7][8][9] Bakinson made his professional debut on the final day of the 2015–16 season, coming on as a 76th-minute substitute for Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu in a 4–1 home win over Exeter City.[10]

Bakinson was named in the starting lineup for the first time to make his first appearance of the 2016–17 season in a 2–1 away win over Gillingham, an EFL Trophy first round group stage match on 30 August 2016.[11]
