Tristan van Natta (born 4 January 1996 in Indiana) is an American double-mini trampolinist, representing her nation at international competitions. She competed at world championships, including at the 2015 Trampoline World Championships, where she won the bronze medal in the double mini team event.[1][2]
She took up gymnastics in 1998 at age two and began competing at age three. She competed in artistic gymnastics until age eight before switching to trampoline and tumbling.
Personal
Her younger siblings Trinity, Treycia, Trenton and Tarynn all compete in trampoline and tumbling.
In May 2007 she was diagnosed with a tumour in her skull and she underwent surgery at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN United States. A team of neurosurgeons and plastic surgeons spent eight hours removing the tumour from the top and front of her skull. Bone was grafted from the top layer of the back of her skull, and two ribs were harvested to close the hole left by the tumour. She left hospital after a week and was back training seven months later.
