The tricolored grebe (Tachybaptus ruficollis tricolor) is a bird in the Podicipedidae family usually considered conspecific with the little grebe (Tachybaptus ruficollis). It is native to maritime Southeast Asia and Australasia.[1] The IOC has split the bird, however the IUCN and Clements still consider the birds conspecific.
