Fictional character biography
A general in the Transylvanian army, Torgo led a force against Attila the Hun's armies when Attila attempted to conquer his homeland. During the battle Torgo was seriously wounded, and left for dead. He was then buried alive, and was then found and slain by a Vampire. Torgo then became a vampire himself. When Dracula was transformed from vampire to human by Satan (actually Mephisto), Torgo became the new Lord of the Vampires. As Lord of the Vampires, he had mental control over all other vampires, and he was physically powerful in comparison even to other vampires. Torgo took control of Earth's vampires, and began planning to conquer the world. However, Dracula regained his vampiric powers. He challenged Torgo to a duel and destroyed him, resuming leadership of the world's vampires. Dracula later destroyed many of the vampires who had sided with Torgo.
