Antonio DeShun Conner (born September 10, 1993) is an American football safety for the Ole Miss Rebels.
Early years
Conner attended South Panola High School in Batesville, Mississippi.[1] He was rated by Scout.com as a five-star recruit and was ranked among the best safeties in his class.[2] He committed to the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) to play college football.[3] Also a standout in track & field, Conner recorded personal-bests of 10.73 seconds in the 100-meter dash and 21.06 seconds in the 200-meter dash in 2010.[4]
College career
As a true freshman at Ole Miss in 2013, Conner played in all 13 games and made 12 starts. On the first play of his college career he recorded an interception.[5] He finished the year with 66 tackles and one sack.[6] As a sophomore in 2014, Conner started all 13 games, recording 69 tackles, one interception and one sack.[7]
