Plot
Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) learn that Luke (Nolan Gould) got arrested because he drove without a license. This gets Phil mad and he begins to give a harsh treatment to his son, by naming him with other names which begin with a “L” and making him finish the Ducks Village. As Phil is convinced he made the right choice, Claire is constantly on Luke’s side, which makes him more furious and he also wonders if Claire really respects him because he never disobeyed during his youth.
To make things worse, Alex (Ariel Winter) was seen sneaking out of a liquor store, which make the couple fear that their kids aren't kids anymore. It’s then revealed that Alex just bought ice for Ruben which is now her boyfriend. As Manny (Rico Rodriguez) goes to help Luke, he makes and befriends Tammy Lafontaine, which makes Luke’s day more gloomy. But he finally has his luck’s moment when his girlfriend Sarah shows up at his house and he seizes the opportunity to hang out with her.
Elsewhere, Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) has to help Jay (Ed O'Neill) to get an award for his company while Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) and Gloria (Sofía Vergara) decide to join their forces in order to create hot sauce. Mitchell then plans to open his law firm and Gloria wants to create her own brand in order to show Jay that he isn't the only business in the family.
As for Haley (Sarah Hyland), she and Dylan go to the movies when they run into Andy and Beth who are also here. Haley finds herself sitting between Dylan and Andy and at the end of the projection, the two couples depart in separate ways. Though Beth suggests to Andy that they could invite Haley and Dylan to their future wedding, Dylan breaks –up with Haley because he wants to have a more mature relation.
