Telmatobius jelskii is a species of frog in the Telmatobiidae family, endemic to Peru. It is also known as the Acancocha Water Frog.[1]
Ecology
T. jelskii is present in much of the Peruan Andes, at altitudes of 2,700-4,500 m. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, rivers, arable land, pastureland, and canals and ditches. This species is semi-aquatic; breeding occurs in streams.[1]
