Tasty Bite is a range of consumer packaged goods, of pre-prepared ready to eat, all-natural Indian and pan-Asian cuisine. Launched in 1995, Tasty Bite offers over 30 products across 4 categories: entrées, rices, noodles and meal inspirations. The flavors range from classic Indian restaurant favorites such as a Channa Masala to unique fusion items such as the Tofu Corn Masala. The products require no cooking, have no preservatives, require no refrigeration, and can be used as a main dish or a side or entree dish. Tasty Bite products are available in every state in the U.S. and are sold in most major grocery chains in the international/Asian foods aisle.

Packaging

With the use of a multi-layer retort pouch, Tasty Bite products remain fresh for 18 months. During the manufacturing process, food is filled into these pouches, after which they are sealed and cooked to a finish in a retort oven under high temperature and pressure. The sealing and construction of the pouch ensures that no bacteria or other degrading factors can affect the food – it is sterilized inside the pouch. This process also ensures a high retention of the food’s original aroma, texture, nutrients and flavor. The pouches are BPA free. The Tasty Bite product line is manufactured at its plant in Bhandgaon, about 40 miles outside of Pune, India. The vegetables used are grown in a private farm owned and managed by the company.
