Talamona is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northeast of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Sondrio. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,623 and an area of 21.2 square kilometres (8.2 sq mi).[1]
Talamona borders the following municipalities: Albaredo per San Marco, Ardenno, Dazio, Forcola, Morbegno, Tartano.
