Streptomyces purpeofuscus is a bacterium species from the genus of Streptomyces which has been isolated from soil in Japan.[1][3][4] Streptomyces purpeofuscus produces negamycin, aestivophoenin A, aestivophoenin B, aestivophoenin C and heptaene.[4][5][6][7][8][9]
