Sree Koottala Bhagavathy Kshethram, Kunnukara (ശ്രീ കൂട്ടാല ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം, കുന്നുകര)is a Devi temple located in Vayalkara, Kunnukara and is accessible by Athani-North Paravoor Road. The main Deity in this temple is Sree Durga and is surrounded by dietes- Shiva, Shastavu. Nagadevatas are also worshipped in this temple. The annual fest is conducted during April- May months every year which attracts lots of devotees from Kunnukara and all the other neighboring villages. Mudiyettu is conducted on the last day of the 9 day long fest which usually marks the closure of the fest.
