Spectacle Island (Maine)

Spectacle Island is a privately owned island off Bar Harbor in Maine, United States.^[1]^[2]^[3] It is 4 acre-wide.^[1] It is owned by Ashley Longmaid.^[2] As of 2012, it is the world's ninth most expensive island.^[1] It is part of the Town of Winter Harbor, in Hancock County.
