Skyview UAV
Skyview UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by Guizhou Jing-Qian Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (Skyview, 贵州景黔科技有限公司), some of which have entered service with People's Armed Police (PAP).
Gasoline-Powered UAV
Gasoline-Powered UAV developed by Skyview is an unmanned helicopter with conventional helicopter layout, and it’s designed for agricultural and forestry applications. Externally, this unmanned helicopter developed by Skyview visually resembles a miniature MBB Bo 105. The complete name for this unmanned helicopter is Gasoline-Powered Large Payload Unmanned Helicopter (Qi-You Da-Zai-He Wu-Ren Zhi-Sheng-Ji (汽油大载荷无人直升机). Specification:[1]
- Length: 3.55 m
- Height: 1.6 m
- Rotor diameter: 3.035 m
- Payload: 65 kg
- Endurance: 1 – 3 hr
26 cc UAV
26 cc UAV developed by Skyview is an unmanned helicopter with conventional helicopter layout, and it’s the smaller cousin of the Gasoline-Powered UAV, both of which are gasoline-powered. 26 cc is the size of the engine that powers this unmanned helicopter, which is mainly designed for aerial survey applications. The design adopts mature airframe GSR260Z as the platform, but with modified flight control system and ground station for survey operations. Specification:[2]
- Length: 1.65 m
- Rotor diameter: 1.78 m
- Height: 0.6 m
- Payload: 5 kg
Electrically Powered UAV
Electrically Powered UAV (Dian-Dong-Li Wu-Ren Hang-Pai Zhi-Sheng-Ji, 电动力无人航拍机) developed by Skyview is an unmanned helicopter with conventional helicopter layout, and it’s mainly designed for aerial survey applications. Externally, this electrically powered unmanned helicopter differs from the gasoline-powered version in that there is no fairing for the electrically powered version.[3]
Riot Control UAV
Riot Control UAV developed by Skyview has entered service with PAP, which is specifically designed to meet the law enforcement requirement, hence the name Armed Police Custom Built Riot Control UAV (Wu-Jing Ding-Zhi Fang-Bao Wu-Ren-Ji, 武警定制防暴无人机). Riot Control UAV has a conventional helicopter layout and a pair of rails perpendicularly attached to the landing skids provide four hardpoints.[4]
Multirotor UAV
Multirotor UAV developed by Skyview is a hexacopter mainly intended for aerial survey and surveillance missions, and the landing gear system consists of a pair of skids.[5]
Fixed-wing UAV
Fixed-wing UAV developed by Skyview is for large payload, and hence the complete name Large-Payload Fixed-Wing UAV (Da-Zai-He Gu-Ding-Yi Wu-Ren-Ji, 大载荷固定翼式无人机). There are actually two models of this class, both of conventional layout and both have a two-blade propeller driven by an engine. What distinguishes the two models is in their propulsion, with one having a single pusher engine mounted at the end of empennage, while the other is a twin-engine version, with one engine on each wing. The single-engine version has a tricycle landing gear system.[6]
Patrol UAV
Patrol UAV (Xun-Huang-Shi Wu-Ren-Ji, 巡航式无人机) is a fixed-wing UAV developed by Skyview for forestry and power line patrols. This UAV has a conventional layout with T-tail configuration. Propulsion is provided a propeller driven by a pusher engine mounted behind the wing, and payload are installed atop of the fuselage, in front of the wing.[7]
