Shyama Prasad Mukherji COllege commonly known as SPM College is one of the constituent colleges under the jurisdiction of University of Delhi.[1] The college is an all girls college and was founded in 1969 in the memory of a distinguished academician named Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji. The college offers a variety of higher education courses to more than 3000 women students from all over India. SPM is among the few colleges of University of Delhi to have a B.Ed. course outside the Central Institute of Education (CIE), University of Delhi.

The college observes the extra curricular activities as well as a good quality education for the students. The infrastructure and the felicities are adequate to accommodate various activities like sports, NSS, NCC and other ECAs.

The College offers courses at Bachelors level. Ranging from Humanities, Sciences, Commerce and Education. Including Masters courses in Hindi, Sankskrit and Political Science. Admissions to the college are carried out along with the common Delhi University admissions every year from June till July. The basis of Admissions is the marks scored in high school.
