Sherihan (Arabic: شريهان), (born December 6, 1955), is an Egyptan actress and multi-artist.
Biography
Family
Sherihan comes from the Shalakani family. She was a talented child by nature. Her mother Awatef Hashem, who died in 1987, and her brother popular actor and guitarist Omar Khorshid, who died in 1981, gave her lots of support in order for her to be a big star in show business one day. Sherry (her nickname) has two sisters, Gihan, the widow of Fayez el Zomor, and Howaida, the wife of director Karim Dhiaa' Al Din.
Early career
In 1977, Sherihan was asked to act in her first movie. She was only 12 years old and played the role of Farid Shawki's granddaughter and Nour El-Sherif and Pousy's niece. In 1978 she starred in a TV series called El Mo'geza or The Miracle (Arabic: المعجزة).

Personal life
Sherihan is married to Ala el Khawaja, a Jordanian businessman, and they have two daughters, Loulwa and Taliya (Thalia).
