Sheahon Jay Zenger (Shay-uh-HON ZENG-er) (born April 13, 1966) is an American university sports administrator and a former assistant American football coach. Zenger is currently the athletic director at the University of Kansas, having succeeded Lew Perkins in 2011. He was previously the athletic director at Illinois State University. Zenger earned a Ph.D. at the University of Kansas in 1996.[1] Zenger hired Charlie Weis.
