Selina Hayat Ivy

Selina Hayat Ivy (Bengali: সেলিনা হায়াৎ আইভী) is a Bangladeshi politician, a physician and current city mayor of Narayanganj. She was elected the first mayor of Narayanganj when it was turned into a city corporation.[1][2][3]

Early life

She was born on 13 January 1966. Her mother is Mamataj Begum and father is Ali Ahmed Chunka. Her father was the former chairman of Narayanganj municipality.[4]

Salina Hayat Ivy has four brothers and sisters. Previously, she had also run the municipality for eight years from 2003. She is affiliated with the Awami League. She has two sons named Kazi Sharjil Hayat and Kazi Shadman Hayat.
